Home  — That’s what I think of when I’m with my brothers and sisters at Hernando.

My first visit at Hernando Church of Christ made a lasting impression on me. While I’m not comfortable in new situations with new people, I felt welcomed when several people came up to my wife and I and expressed how glad they were that we were here. And in the coming weeks and months they opened their arms and hearts and showed us God’s love.

The message is always from the Word. There is no pretense. The singing is from the heart. Dress is casual as God wants your heart, humble and willing to be molded. The Truth is spoken. The gospel message is preached.

In this place you will find others like you, struggling with life’s challenges, sometimes needing encouragement and sometimes needing guidance. Jesus is in this place.

When you visit, you will find a reverence for the Holy God and the opportunity to be touched and moved by His Spirit and the power of His Word.

You are welcome here. Just as you are. Whatever you are burdened with. You will find the grace and truth and love that only God provides through His children.

Teens and Children

We love teens and children. They are precious to God. We have classes for all ages. A nursery is available for very young children.

What do I wear?

You will see that some of us dress up and some of us dress casual, and all of us bring our hearts to bare before the Lord in humble worship in spirit and in truth for that is what He seeks.

Where are you located?

We are located at 2110 Highway 51 South in Hernando, MS.

Where do I go when I arrive?

Enter one of the entrances to our Welcome area and go to the Welcome table. Classes are located in various places depending on the day and time you come. During worship we all gather in the Auditorium.
